Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of "proving" their pcgs-printed cert. numbers?

Do others have to "prove" their reg. set coins' cert. numbers when adding coins? It isn't as annoying as much as tiresome, as I have not got my scanning capabilities as of yet. When a cert. number is printed on a holder, is it then up to a human to enter the cert. number into the data base? Is this where the omissions occur, or is the problem in the data base itself?

Yes! I have to e-mail PCGS everytime to add the numbers for coins I JUST GOT BACK FROM PCGS!

How about adding them to datebase before you ship them PCGS!! image

That's supposed to be changing pretty soon. Not sure what the current target date for combiing the databases is.

Only happened once. I sent an email and it was fixed. I suppose they could just remove this free service, and then you would not have to worry.

No worry, but an email didn't fix it. It is a pcgs system-wide problem, not personal.
  • It seems like the databases are better maintained currently on recent submissions except for coins made at the shows. They seem to always be out of whack.
