Attempted Burglary Tampa, Florida Coin Shop

Attempted Burglary
During the morning hours of 07/17/14 patrol units responded to an alarm call at 5802 N. Armenia (Gilder Coin Shop) and located an unsecure gate and pry marks on the back door. Further investigation of the video showed 4 unidentified males attempting to gain entry to the business using power tools and a pry bar on the back door. No entry was gained and eventually the 4 unknown male subjects fled in a silver 4 door vehicle, possibly a 2006-2012 Chevrolet Impala. The subjects were captured on camera by the neighboring business and appears to show a larger possibly H/M with distinct long dreadlocked style hair and camo pants. The other subjects appear to be wearing hoods/masks.
The suspects may have cased the shop prior to the attempted burglary. It is also reasonable to believe that the suspects may attempt additional burglaries of coin shops in the surrounding areas.

Also, mister dairy queen ... dang. Nicest fake coins? So I take it you're not a fan of this shop? Did your dad take the fakes back to the shop and alert the owner? Did they know the coins were fake?
that is a pretty serious allegation, IMO for this industry. Dealers who knowingly sell fakes shouldn't be dealing. On the other hand, how awesome would it be if some burglars robbed a shop full of counterfeits and ended up getting caught trying to buy stuff at the Wal-Mart with fake money. LOL
