Two days before he died, I opened a package from a fellow board member with this inside. An uncanny feeling when I heard the news, to say the least.

One tough Running Back. Rest in Peace Mr. Newhouse.

PS. Matt, all the ex-Cowboys are praying that you DON'T list them in your "Dallas Cowboys Backfield Project" Thread!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Dang that's sad to hear. My buddy and I were both Steeler fans but he was a big Newhouse fan. It's sad to think that in about 10 years, most of the players who were stars when I was growing up will be reaching the age of average life expectancy. Time flies too quickly! Thankfully we have these wonderful pasteboards to freeze time and take us right back to the 1970s when we were in grade school.

This news somehow got by me. I always respected this guy, he was a real load on the field. Gave it full effort. Sad to see his passing image.
