Just curious if the Bill Russell Signed Bank Check (signed as William F. Russell) in Leland's auction is really that rare as the description says and how high should I bid ? It's currently at $250 with 3 days left. Advice ? Thx.

He does a lot of signings. I would imagine he would sign his full name for the right price, but I never heard of anyone wanting one.

Is it rare because he does not sign William F. Russell or because signed checks of Russell are rare? Lelands certainly is not afraid to use hyperbole in their auctions.

He's a prolific signer so it must be because it's his full name. He normally signs "Bill Russell"
