Went to the big meet in Crystal, MN (Twin Cities) and about fell over when I saw all the dealers. Tables full of material everywhere! This seems to be a very active area.
Got some classic material from Natal, Cape of Good Hope (my first triangle), Free Orange State, Transvaal, and my new area, Samoa (lovely, bi-color engraved Commonwealth issues).
Are dealers the easiest going salespeople on earth or what? So friendly. Each wants to know where I am from, my interests, when I started collecting, how I came to be interested in extended South Africa.
My lovely bride bought into her topicals. A pleasant three hours!
