Question Regarding Topps 1981-82 Basketball wax

I bought a 81-82 basketball "west " box from BBCE a few months ago. I noticed a "Mid West" box for sale. How many different regional boxes were sold in 81-82 basketball. I don't recall any other mainstream Topps boxes sold that way.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

1981 Topps Hockey was issued the same way.......sort of. I think they only had the East and West. They had the National 66 cards which were available in both regions and additional 66 cards from either the East or West. I have two boxes from each the West and East regions. I am not sure if there is a way to tell which region they are from by either the wrapper or the box. The hockey West has better rookies.
