this one is definitely fake, the first flag is the date position, the second flag is the "barber" style reverse which wasn't even hubbed until 1892. glancing at the rest of his coins, they all look suspect. the 1921 dime is especially hideous. buyer beware, or know what you are buying.

well i guess it is plausible that it is just coincidence that ALL the coins he listed were terrible counterfeits (often referred to as chinese fakes and class I at that), even though its never happened to me, not even close. nor has it happened to anyone i've known, even at a distance. i will concur that i'm sure it does happen where someone gets a small group and all are bad and they don't know.
not that it matters because we're not going to know for sure. every argument i use in these situations to defend sellers are the exact same arguments i can use to state that they knew and/or don't care.
i don't want to try and hash it out here as i just wanted to make my statements. at least the items have been ended and i'm very glad. now i just cross my toes i don't see them re-listed in the future.
