Not another Ancient!!!
But yes it is, and with a fabulous provenance, ex Zohar the Magnificent. From the city of Miletus in Ionia (present day Turkey) this early 3rd BC Tetradrachm in NGC AU. A really well struck example, just look at the hair behind the obverse portrait. Hard to image with the high relief but I think this is pretty accurate, a light stain on the obverse cheek but otherwise a rather nice example. Head of Heracles on obverse and Zeus seated on reverse.

The type of Alexander III (The Great), but of course a posthumous issue.

I really need to post some NEWPs of my own and mix things up. Soon! I'm away from the office for a little while longer.
