Can someone verify the accuracy of the description here? I'm particularly curious about the "Autoless" variation and the claim that only one of each exists. The listing is for a blackless card and it really is different from the recently sold Autoless that were up on Ebay. I just have a hard time believing there is only one of each out there.

The author of the story states his opinion very well, but unless Topps has some documentation, I would be skeptical.
Does PSA even grade these? If you are a person who needs EVERY variation of a players card, why not toss in a bid?
full blackless: missing border and auto but have a normally printed back and normal photo.
partial blackless - not all black features missing and normal photo.
blackless-ing (full and partial) - missing or reduced black ink on card including photo.
autoless - missing auto but not the border. normal photo and a blank back. Allegedly only one of each exists.
I'm almost positive I've seen blank back sheets and cards from 1982 many years ago but I don't remember if they had the auto or not. Doing an image search shows a blank bank sheet of six Ripken Orioles future stars but those didn't have autos on them anyway.
The autoless cards are blank back, likely from proof sheets. Might be one, might be more, but there are not likely many. The seller does know a lot about 82 Blackless, in betweens, autoless....and Blueless from that year. He also sold/sells a lot of 85 Topps Minis and 84 Topps Encased cards. I am not the seller
