It had been always on for me until a few weeks ago.
My freshened up icon went poof and the ability to upload disappeared.
It defaulted to some fuzzy Lincoln pic but was able to dig out my original one.

"If I say something in the woods and my wife isn't there to hear it.....am I still wrong?"

    I like mine too and unless someone comes out of the woodwork and claimes it's theirs, I'm going to stick with it awhile.

    First time I have changed since 2005 when I joined. Did so today.

    mercurydimeguy, Go to your profile at the top of the page. Very bottom is icon upload. Your new must be no larger than 100X100 pixels. Available only on the 15th.

    Mine is the some coin with just a little different look.

    Sometimes I don't recognize people who have had the same one for a long time, then change.

    Still do not have the option to change mine. Just the option to take someone else's. Won't do it.
    Is it a "mac" thing that's not giving me the option?

    Love it! In thinking about it, you're probably the only person who shows their age-range by their avatar (excluding photos(obviously)).
