1916-D Mercury Dime NGC VG-8! AMAZING coin for Grade! Reverse is phenomonal!! Fully original!! Not only is the reverse strong, with full rims which is scarce for a VG 16-D dime(most VGs have wear into the rim); but there is actually remaining luster around the reverse lettering!! Enough for a light cartwheel affect when viewed beneath a direct light source! How many VG anythings are out there with noticeable luster??? I have not sent this into CAC, but if you view past 16-D VG auctions....there is nothing out there that can compete with the stunning reverse of this coin. The obverse is awesome too, and has a very original light golden tan toning to it.
