Your opinions requested on the feasibility of grading a star baseball player, 1 of 1 autograph from TOPPS. And what type of value would you insure it for to ship and to have it returned under what insured value. Anyone done this before with a 1 of 1?

<< <i>I wouldn't do it. You have nothing to gain. You already know the auto is legit, and a grade won't help the value but could hurt it if it's "only" a 7 or 8. >>
I agree. The true value is the fact it's 1/1. I would only grade it if I knew it would 10.

<< <i> I know it is real/legit. but maybe grading it would provide an extra level of authenticity, being it is autographed, thereby making a future potential buyer be more at ease. >>
If its a pack inserted autograph, grading isn't needed to make a potential buyer more at ease. Your not likely to increase value by slabbing unless its a 10.
