Hi, I have several autographed items in my possession in which I have no intention to sell. However, I am debating whether I should get these autograph authenticate or not. Can you give me your opinion as to the value of getting it authenticate in the case of personal collection?
Also, my perception is that PSA/DNA is the best place to get autographs authenticate. Its authentication is highly recoginized in the collectable industry. Does anyone agree with it or have other opinons?
Lastly, for my own curiosity, when an autographed item is authenticated by PSA/DNA, does the value of the item increase? If it does, usually increase by how much (percentage wise)?
Thanx

If it's worth it to you , then go for it. (Judging by what you've written, it probably is)
"Its authentication is highly recoginized in the collectable industry."
This is probably true. Although I know there are other auto authenticaters out there.
"does the value of the item increase?"
I'm sure it does, but there are a lot of factors involved in determining value. 1) The player 2) The object on which the auto is on 3) The overall appearance of the auto 4) etc
