How common or uncommon are clipped Franklin half dollars?

And how valuable are they compared to non clipped examples?

The reason I ask is that today I stopped by a local shop and snooped. The dealer has a couple of MS Franklins that are clipped (one a straight clip and the other a curved clip. Both are average in size.

Seeing these coins made me curious. Thus this thread.

Not extremely scarce but also not common as dirt and both curved or straight would command a decent premium comparable to clipped Morgan or Peace $1's.

It isn't till you get into major mechanical errors on Franklin's that prices jump through the roof.
