Saddened to hear!!

Of the death of Tom Veryzer, shortstop for Tigers, Indians and Cubs. Being a Tigers fan I still remember he was the first Tiger card I pulled from packs of 77 Topps. 61 years old, too young!!

    As a child, I got his auto on my glove during spring training, at Al Lang Stadium. My mom would pull me out of school every so often and take me to spring training games. Best mom ever haha. Good times!
