NEWPs: Franz Joseph Florin/Double Florin

Not my typical are of focus in 19th century material, yet these conditionally scarce and floated on Ebay over the holiday weekend. PCGS images. The 2 Florin is a toughie in particular.

    That "MS66" Florin had been on eBay for quite a while. Not a bad looking coin, but hard to tell from the Secure Plus images you posted how it will actually look in hand (and the eBay seller's images left much to be desired). A couple spots on the obverse kept me from pulling the trigger at the asking price about 2 weeks ago. Still, a very lovely coin.

    The 2FL has a great look to it.

    Brandon - agree re Florin. It's a gamble as seller accepted the $140 offer shipped which is probably 64-65 pricing levels.

    The 2FL is a tougher one in such grade and has the eye appeal that I like. Paid a premium yet threw in all my Ebay Bucks which made it easier image
