Having recently completed the upgrade of my 1970 Topps BB registry set, I now have 193 high-end extras that I am
looking to sell as a single lot. Before I list it card-by-card myself on FeeBay (or send to one of the consignment
specialists), I thought I'd offer it as a group here first.
I've included a few photos of the major stars and higher-end low-pops to give some idea of what you should expect. No
surprises. For those who know how OCD I am when it comes to condition and centering, you probably know what to expect.
For those who do not, I hope the pictures are helpful.
The PSA 8s and 8.5s were included in my registry set until they were upgraded to PSA 9s. The 76 PSA 9s were extras that I came
by as I was picking up bulk groups of 9s so that I could pull the upgrades from them.
This lot contains a number of the MAJOR stars (regular issue and/or hard-to-find AS cards from series 4 and series 5) in
PSA 8 or PSA 9!!! I repeat, these are the REGULAR ISSUE HOFer cards from 1970 (not just the multi-player LL cards) of
HOFers like Jackson (140), Bench (464 AS), Frank Robinsons AS (463), Gibson (530), Brock (330) and several more.
This group also includes 5 of the 7 checklists (missing only the 1st and 2nd series) in high-end slabs, as well as some of
the better LL and WS cards. Also included are some of the PSA 8 and PSA 9 low pops for good measure.
The following cards are included:
PSA 9 (76): 33,35,127,139,153,156,168,173,178,185,192,204,206,218,224,228,265,268,269,278,
283,288,294,298,311,319,328,330 (Brock),339,342,356,361,363,383,393,403 (Bunning),406,

PSA 8.5 (5): 13,261,343 (Red Bat, very low pop in PSA 9),487 (Carlos, low pop in PSA 9),523 (Pena, low pop in PSA 9)
PSA 8 (112): 8,17 (Wilhelm),23,30,39,41,42,51,56,65 (McCovey/Aaron HR Ldr),66 (Killebrew/Jackson HR Ldr),
70,72 (Seaver SO Ldr),73,76,80,84,100,101,102,105,110,118,123,125 (Johnson, low pop 8),126,133,135,136,
140 (Jackson),144,149,162,176,177,179,180 (John),186,188,191,205,210 (Marichal),232,235,236,240 (Jenkins),
244 (Red Bat),249,252,257,263,267,276,296,305,308,309,310,320,329,336,358,365,375,379,383,407,410 (Powell),

475,476,477,480,483,484,486,488,489,490,498,499,509,512,514,518,519,520,521,530 (Gibson),531,534,535,
539 (Bowa RC),542 (Brown Bat),552,573,588 (Adolfo),610,661,665,668,681,702 (AL Rookies),715 (Lolich)
These 193 cards have a current VCP average is over $4,250 and several of the stars included have been doing significantly
better than average in recent months.
The group is priced at $3795 firm (PP gift), and includes insured delivery (that's less than 90% of VCP average).
This group is either a nice start on a very strong registry set, a great opportunity to upgrade an existing set or possibly even
a resale opportunity for someone who is willing to do the legwork of breaking it up.
Thanks for looking.
