1985 Topps Baseball No Date Packs

Does anyone here have any information about the no date variation 85 Topps baseball packs? When, where and why were they released? Do the packs and boxes sell for a premium over the regular packs? How hard are would a full box be to find?
Thank you, James

1985 Topps was an odd year for wrapper variations. You have the standard wrappers with the date. The plain wrappers with no date and you even have the all white blank wrappers on some packs, too. The no date wrappers are tougher to find, but good thing about them is that you can easily tell if a box is original by looking at all 36 packs as they should all be same variation in box.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

Thank you Tim. I just bought a box. I should have it in hand next week.
