Big thanks to jmaciu for some board generosity!

A while back, I mentioned in a thread that my favorite player growing up was Will Clark. I got a PM about a week ago from jmaciu on the boards here saying he wanted my address and he was going to send me a few cards. Fast forward to yesterday and I get a nice surprise on my desk at work. I opened it at home and in there were three 1986 Will Clark cards, his Topps Traded, Donruss "the Rookies" and Fleer Update cards. I remember being 11 or 12 years old in the late 80's and trying to save up to get these cards. I never did get the Fleer Update card until now! Knowing I am an unopened guy, he even threw in a sweet Donruss rack pack with Will on top. Best of all, he included a hand written note, telling me to share these cards with my 6 year old son (he saw me post about getting my son into cards).
John, I appreciate the cards and even more the sentiment behind the gesture. It's been said before, but getting through some of the pettiness that comes up on the boards is worth it because of great guys, like you.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Great gesture by jmaciu and you summed it up very well with that statement.
