Plastic Team Bags for PSA Slab / Holder

I know I've seen previous posts with links to these bags before since I've been contributing on the forum, however, when I search I'm only finding very old posts with product links that don't work or with products that weren't reviewed well by the board. I'm looking for a bag that fits a card in PSA holder to protect from scratches. Ideally a good quality, well fitted, clear bag with a functioning adhesive on the back. I would appreciate any suggestions that meet this criteria.

Thanks for the reply. It's not that I can't find any available. Was hoping to get some input on which were good (see criteria) so I didn't have to go around buying several types to find something I'd be satisfied with.

OK. The biggest issue you will find is that all of these are designed for PSA, BGS and SGC, so they tend to run big on PSA slabs since they are the smallest. If you want truly snug (i.e. well fitted) on PSA slabs, I am not sure what to suggest, as I haven't seen any.

  • Hands down, this is the best one you'll ever find.

    Perfect fit

I've bought several times from this seller. They fit perfectly and were made only for PSA slabs. I also use them for top loaders,
mag-tite holders. I think some of the older threads were about a sewing site that sold bags for housing pins and needles and trying to
    figure out the perfect size.
  • I've always used these and never had any issues with fit.

These are more expensive than your standard sleeves but are awesome! Matt Miller (mbmiller) turned me on to these. I sure do miss him on the boards.

Hey Nate, these sleeves that Dan linked look awesome! 100 is more than I need, but I'd buy a max of 200, if you want to buy them and split the 800 with me....

He also sells 1 pack (100 sleeves) if that's all you're looking for. Just check his other items.

Everyone else who has listed a link; those are all too big. All those Ultra Pro were made for SGC, PSA, and BGS and all have excessive room left over and look horrible.
The one I listed is ONLY made for PSA slabs, and you will have no extra room on the sides or top.

to add on here on this thread…

i also seem to remember there being a better quality soft sleeve as well. Anyone else remember what I'm talking about?

I have searched for that perfect sleeve for only psa cards.

Ultrapro and most of the others are very loose fitting.

Now I found Cardboard Gold resealable team bags 100 count

They are the tightest fitting I have found. Variation in sizing like all the others...but they fit tighter than all the others.

Plus decent thickness and clarity. They keep case scratch free. I never peel adhesive tape and just put card in.

They fit newer cases even better.

I will give these a shot and see how I like them, thank you.

Edit: Oh yeah, love the icon. It reminds me of a long time ago in the early 90's when I used to chat on #efnet//irc. I recall that photo becoming popular for the first time back then, lol.

Get them while you can. Scott from allstarsportscards is the only one that carries these PSA sleeves.
I've got 10 packs myself. Clarity and fit are superb. He'll let you have 8 packs at $30 which is the lowest he'll take on his make offer/ BIN plus $7 shipping. That comes out to less than $5 per pack. That's the better deal.

I got mine today and they are FANTASTIC!! Very snug, the right height too, and clarity is superb. Bonus: with the new snugger sleeves, my slabs fit into my vault case more easily. Couldn't be more happy with these, highly recommended.

I'm not sure a cell phone pic will do them justice, and the seller provides his own pic on eBay. Based on that pic and my recommendation, everybody can make their own choice.

I just took the plunge on 800 of these bad boys with some of my eBay bucks. I haven't counted, but I can't have more than 300 or so graded cards, so this should do for a while. Looking forward to them. How do they fit over the new slabs? I feel like the new slabs are slightly larger than the older ones (the top back ridge of the slab sticks out further).

The new slabs are definitely thicker. They no longer fit into those little blue boxes that PSA sells or sold on their website. I assume the bag fit will be a little tighter. I'll be ordering some here in a couple of days when my PP hits.

I think what Nate and others are saying is that the new vs old slabs vary in "thickness" (front to back). However they are all the same width (left to right) and therefore these sleeves fit them all. I also have one card in a WCG slab (my wife didn't know any better) and I was able to squeeze that into one of the bags too.
  • PSUguyPSUguy Posts: 56 ✭✭
Agreed. These bags are a perfect fit for the PSA holders. I am quite OCD and was very happy to find bags w/o all of the extra room.

Anyway, I have 400 extra bags (4 packs of 100 each). I will sell them for $20 delivered if anyone wants them. This is right along the same best offer price on ebay. However, I will include shipping for free. Let me know if interested.

I just wanted to come back and say after having gotten these, that they fit perfectly, are of good quality and clarity with a solid adhesive. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you rabbitpunch for the link and EagleEyeKid for the lowdown on the $$ deal.

I bought these on this recommendation and they are awesome. They really are a perfect for for just about any psa card. I will look forward to filling the 800 bags I orderedimage I've probably got about 250 now.
