Nice! How long did it take you to complete the set?

Wow, didn't want to figure that out... 5 years.

Not going to figure out what it cost either. image

Congrats! On the 51 Wheaties, do they grade just the cards or complete boxes as well?
  • Thanks guys. I'll be sure to get good scans up. My bride just doesn't quite get why this is a big deal to me. Thank you internets.
  • That is AWESOME stuff!! Not only 100%, but #2 in the ranks! Campanella is a stud, and the cards being from the 1940s and 50s makes it even cooler. What a great guy to collect and a great accomplishment to finish!

Nice set and some tough to find pieces in that master composition.

Playing less than 10 years in the bigs, Campy has always been one of the big "what if" stories for me.

Great set bigjaco!!!! Do you (or does anyone) know why his 1959 "Symbol of Courage" card isnt included in the master set????? At first I thought cards that make up player sets only encompassed the years the specific player played (campy's last season was 57), but then I saw that 1962 babe ruth specials are part of the ruth master set so that theory went out the window.

awesome stuff, as a dodgers fan there is no one better. nice that you added pictures to most

one thing I noticed that I think is absolutely ridiculous about the master set is the red man cards, do they really require a with and without tab? that just seems plain dumb!

here is my favorite campy card

Why isn't the 1959 Topps Campanella Master of Courage card on the Master Set List?
