Does anyone else find the new layout to be hideous?...it had replaced ESPN as my go-to sports site, but I can't stand the new format....WAY too busy.

It's terrible but I don't go to SI for news or headlines so I really only go there to read a select few columnists for baseball (Jaffe, Sheehan & Verducci's hair), and to smirk in Jon Wertheim's general direction for his continued fluff pieces on the ATP anyway. You can bookmark individual writer page feeds and not really have to deal with the new App/Windows 8-esque flash design thing that most sites now have. The Score out of America Jr has virtually this same design too. Thankfully I only go there to read Justin Bourne so I just bookmark his feed. You can also just follow/'like' your chosen writers on twitter or facebook and get those feeds that way as well and then just pick out another site for 'breaking news' or headline type hot Internet clicks. If you're going there for headlines or "breaking news", I find many fantasy sports hosting sites better (more stats, generally) and more immediate than the more mainstream sites anyway. I don't see any value in reading basic gamecaps from some staff writer on ESPN or SI.

    +1000

Totally blows. Very disorganized now. They should have left the categories along the top.

That is my exact reaction, nothing is organized, it just reads like $hit...

when Fox sports switched its format some time ago, I made it my number three behind SI then ESPN. Now SI does the same lousy pop culture change. Yuck. Relegated to ESPN.com, which now seems way better than it ever was.

I wish I could find a decent iPhone sports app, but really don't like any of them (content is often lousy, crashes are frequent, and in the case of CBS sports app the focus on the NBA no matter the season is simply awful)
