Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards

Hey guys I have a quick question, and maybe one of you guys can help me. I'm currently looking for an in-depth price guide/set checklist/set biography catalog and have heard quite a bit about The Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards and I'm trying to find a current one. I have been using The Beckett Almanac for years now, but it doesn't have a lot of information on some of the sets I'm collecting, and certain sets are even omitted from it. I have heard in the past that The Standard Catalog is more in-depth and informative. Problem is, when I search for a newer one to purchase, all that comes up is "The Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards". I can't find a "normal" Standard Catalog newer than 2011. Do they still make them, or do they only print the vintage version now? I'm not so much interested in the price good portion, but the set listings and information on how and where the sets were distributed. Any info would help. Thanks guys. And like I said can't find anything newer than 2011.
Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.

They only do "vintage" years in the current versions.

I believe '11 may have been the last year on the "complete catalog".

Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

Do you need set information for post 2011 sets? If so, then Beckett is your best bet. If you're looking for set information for 2010 and earlier, then the 2011 version of the Standard Catalog should suffice. If all you need is information for pre-1981 cards, then the newer Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball cards is perfect for you.

Ok thanks a lot! I'm mainly trying to find information about certain 1980's oddball issues that The Beckett Almanac has little or no information on. I will have to go with the 2011 issue that's all. That kind of sucks that they don't do a complete version anymore. Either way, Beckett does a good job with what's in there, but I am looking for a little more information about some small "oddball" stuff. Thanks for the responses guys. I was sort of hoping that Beckett wasn't the only game in town these days.

You can also get a digital version of the 2011 standard catalog from Google Play bookstore. Being able to search keywords is immensely useful. image
