Whatever happened to Yankee Stadium's ORIGINAL monument/plaques?

Okay everyone knows how world famous Yankee Stadium's Monument Park is right? But after seeing pictures of the plaques/monuments it's quite obvious that the monuments of say, Ruth/Gehrig/Huggins look nothing like they did back in the original 'Stadium (1923-73) because they look just as shiny/new as the more recent Mantle/DiMaggio monuments. Meanwhile, did you guys know that the Hall of Fame replaced Jackie Robinson's plaque with a new one recently that includes his historical contributions to the game along with his playing career (originally when Jackie went into the HOF in 1962 he insisted that only the on-the-field stuff be included on his plaque and nothing else)?

Well in both cases and others like it, what did they do to the originals? Surely they didn't just throw them in a dumpster out back or just hide them in their attic/warehouse or something right? Like if you went to the Hall of Fame and wanted to see Jackie's original HOF plaque (and other players who got "do over" plaques), can you? And if so where?
