1948 Leaf Stan Musial PSA 8 rookie...

It seems that this card is never offered anymore. I cannot remember the last time one was offered on eBay or in any of the major auctions. Does anyone even know of a "recent" sale/hammer price?

It's been 3-4 years since I have seen a PSA 8 for sale. The last public sell price was $5250. For a while two hung out there via BIN. They were offered by 707 Sportscards and the other by Steve Novella. I bought the one Steve Novella was selling. It's a pop 26 card with 3 higher. It's my favorite card in my entire collection. I plan to pass it on to my oldest son. If everyone else has similar feelings as I do about that card, it might explain the lack of availability. Good Luck on the hunt.

I am pretty sure MBMiller had a PSA 8 Musial rookie, it was one nice card and his Musial collection was cool.

I think it's a great card, however I don't feel it's his RC anymore and his 48 Bowman should be his only RC listed.

Wow, $9000 is definitely the highest I've ever seen that card sell. (Granted, the centering is also the best I've ever seen on an 8.) Actually, I'm not in the market for one- I've owned one for about 16 years. I was just trying to get an idea of a current market price.

Would I be correct if I assumed that this $9000 sale also does not include the 15% buyer premium, so that would bring it to $10,350?

I am not familiar with Musial cards. Why wouldn't they both be considered his RC's?
