How anal-retentive are you about slabs?

Here's the situation:

I bought a bunch of PSA cards from the same set recently, and a few of the slabs had a little mistake in the set name (it's a Bucks team set, not a Buck's team set).

Would you send the slabs back for mechanical error correction the next time you were sending cards in to PSA, or ignore it?

  • My OCD would instantly kick in knowing they were different. Then my anxiety level would shoot up thinking about all the things that could go wrong shipping them back and waiting for their return. I would have to decide which mental condition I could deal with the best! I guess I am no help... Sorry! Lol

Send them back. If there was an extra blank space between words on the slab, and that bothered you, that would be borderline OCD but still perfectly acceptable to send them back. These are labelled incorrectly.

On this topic, my usual mechanical error percentage is between 5 and 10% on the last 600 cards or so that I've subbed. I've sent them all back and they've been corrected very quickly. They will issue you a voucher for whatever it costs to send them back - but you usually have to ask.

I'd send them back. You've noticed it and it bugs you enough to post about it, which tells me it's going to continue bugging you anytime you look at them image. It would for me, anyway.

My bet is that there has to be at least one person on this board who will read this thread and have a complete breakdown over the intentional grammatical errors that have been typed here.

I used to send them back, and then they'd just repeat the mistake so I don't bother anymore.
