Advice on sending in T206 and others from early 1900s- Update w/ SGC poppage

I have a few T206 cards that I want to send in. Debating between PSA and SGC. I read on here that SGC is pretty strong on T206s, which is why I am considering them.

The best T206 is a Cy Young (glove showing) that's probably a 1.5 or 2. Also have a Mathewson, LaJoie, and a few other cheaper guys. There is a 1915 Cracker Jack Grover Alexander that is probably a 1.5 or 2. Looks real based on everything I read on spotting counterfeits (has a thin stock, somewhat rough feel to the front, no glare when turned under a light, upside down back).

As far as value goes, what level do you think I can submit these under? SGC has a special $12/card, 10 days, value under $500.

Do you think they will take the Alexander under that Special? Or should I just suck it up and spend the extra on a better service for that card?

I would think you will be just fine under the SGC special under 500 bucks with all the cards. I would sub to PSA if I had them but either way you should do fine. Good luck with your choose.

    Thanks for the response.

SGC actually had a T Special, $7/card, 10 day return. So I sent the T206 cards that way. I have another 7 or 8 non T cards that I will send under their $12/card, 10 day special.

Well like I said either way will be good, The sgc holders look great as well. Will be fun to see how they grade.

It really shows how pitiful the collector base is for SGC graded cards when you have to come to the PSA boards to ask a question about SGC specials and share your latest SGC submission.

I look at this forum as just a sports card forum in general, not just a PSA board. Unopened wax, raw, PSA, SGC, and a bunch of other topics are discussed here.

Obviously PSA has a larger following than SGC. But SGC is right up there for pre-war.
