KICK TO THE FACE!

Anyone know who the victim of this kick to the face is? No mention of who it is on the back either. And are his feet twice as big as most people or most mules?

Card #14 shows Tito wearing red tights as well.

    Tito

Both Andre and Tito were fan favorites at the time so I doubt it is Tito.

I think it looks like an enhancement talent.

The hair looks like a guy by the name of Al Perez. I will do a search of WWF jobbers at the time and see if any names stick out.

I haven't followed wrestling since around that time but Tito Santana was who I thought of as well when I saw the picture.

    Dan Driggers

Could be this guy. I will keep looking.

Hard to believe Dan Driggers didn't rise to the top of the wrestling world.

Possibly Brady Boone. Possibly Barry Horowitz.

Most definitely not Tito Santana. Or Al Perez.

Yeah, it ain't either of those two either. Neither one was in the WWF in 1984 or 1985.

My first thought was Iron Mike.

    What about Dan Driggers?

The hair looks similar and so does the build.

Driggers didn't show up in the WWF until too late in 1985 to be the guy on the card.

The photo could be from the same day as the photo on card #50 Pile Up. I did a quick search on youtube for the match but couldn't find anything yet

How about Bob Orton Jr. Andre defeated Orton on Oct 1982

Definitely not Cowboy Bob either. Body's not right, hair's too dark.

Can somebody post the card #50?

I asked for input over on Wrestling Classics and the suggestion there was Tony Colon. Watching the match at the end of this clip, it looks like Colon is a really strong match for the guy in the photo:

    Ivan Putski vs Tony Colon

I think you nailed it! I am going with this guy Tony Colon. The ring attire, hair, and size all match.

    Nice work!

Thanks to everyone for their efforts on this. I don't own many wrestling cards but am tempted to figure out who the guy getting destroyed on the cards are.

I just picked this card up in PSA 10 from 4SC, but forgot to grab the pic of it before I bought it. Here's the card in a current eBay listing. Is this also Tony Colon feeling the wrath of King Kong Bundy? Can't tell how long his hair is in the back...If it is I'm only a few cards away from being able to request a Tony Colon Master set...

Am I spending way too much time on this page and all the links on it? Yes I am. Did you know that he only won 2 of his 90 matches with those wins coming against Brooklyn Brawler and Rudy Diamond? It doesn't show that he ever fought Andre The Giant or King Kong Bundy but A) I doubt this records are 100% accurate and B) I guess the photos could have come in tag team matches and I can't find any info on those.
