It is always refreshing to handle a Proof 3 cent nickel that is completely devoid of flyspecks. This example has such quality, and has remained stable in its holder for at least 28 years. Very respectable for the type and date variety, with mild cameo contrast. A quick survey of auction prices realized at CoinFacts shows that the 5 most recent sales of PR-65 averaged just over $794. None of those were in 1st gen. holders. $795 FIRM, delivered. Paypal o.k. with known members.
