Question about subbing thick memorabilia type cards

I have some to send in and have never subbed cards like this before. Do people send these in with the normal card savers? Are the corners more likely to be bent since there is extra thickness in the card saver? I have some modern memorabilia cards of some olympic wrestlers that I think would look good slabbed, but wanted to know how I need to go about this. Thanks for the help in advance.

I was thinking along the same lines as the information provided here but glad to have confirmation. Sorry I missed this thread a few months ago. I appreciate the feedback.
