61 golden press question

Is it best to cut the golden press leaving a border or tear at the perforations? I've seen it done both ways.

I am looking to resell after grading.

I believe they need to see the perforation tabs to grade....i don't think cutting them will allow them to be graded.

I would leave them in the book unless you are very, very sure what you are doing, especially if the cards on the front and back are not mint condition.

The complete books are rising in value as they become more scarce.

I purchased a partial book. Received grades today. Was hoping for a bone or two, but still enjoy a MINT card from 1961.

Btw, I separated the cards at the perforations rather than cutting outside them and keeping them intact. I've seen them both ways, but separating at the perfs seems to be the typical format.
