CHEAP 1908 San Francisco Philippine Peso

How many times did this silver peso change hands for a pitcher of beer, for shots of rum, or...other recreational expenditures... for sailors on shore leave in Manila in the pre-WWI era?
And remember the San Francisco earth quake was in 1906 and destroyed 80% of the city. The Granite Lady was one of the few structures to survive, otherwise this coin wouldn't even exist.
She saw use, that's for sure. I'd grade her VG, but she's got a fair number of dings and bag marks, too. She's marked, she's worn, she's been used. But her skin is original. And let's see if you look this good when you're 105 years old and have been touched by every sailor in the Great White Fleet!
20 grams of .800 fine silver, so just over half an ounce of pure silver. Perfect fit between a silver half and a silver dollar.
Asking $19 plus $1 shipping. Morgan not included.

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.
