Racks

Hello friends,

I basically gauge desirability of an unopened product by the likelihood of it yielding high grade cards - which I'm sure many of you do. For example, rack packs are at the top of the food chain for me as they seem to produce the sharpest cards, followed by wax packs and then cellos (bring up the rear).

With that said, where would you unopened gurus place grocery racks? Specifically I'm referring to the kind that look like they hold three individual mini-cello packs. Are these mini-cellos (and forgive my lack of better term) as harsh on the card corners as regular cellos have been known to be?

Thank you for your input.

Grocery racks tend to yield lower grade cards. No comparison to regular rack packs.

I think the packs from wax trays (for years they are available) may be between rack packs and wax packs from wax boxes in terms of yielding high quality cards.

jeff the grocery ones are for sure going to yield lower quality cards because they are wrapped tighter...I have busted many of both and its not even close...

the corners are absolutely horrible on cards pulled from these packs! regular rack packs are definitely the way to go for mint cards!
