Who pitches no-hitter first, Darvish or Tanaka?

My choice-Tanaka. And will either RC bump from this feat?

  • I say neither will ever throw a no hitter, just my opinion, we'll see what the future brings!

Darvish, more overpowering. Ive also seen more of him. Havnt seem much of Tanaka yet. I dont think their cards will go up at all with this feat. If it does at all, it will be for a week max, then go back down.

From what little I've seen of him, Darvish. But I've seen even less of Tanaka.
  • I live in NJ so I get to see Yankee games and Tanaka is no joke. His split finger completely seems to disappear on batters. However, he seems to miss some pitches late in the game and could prevent him from throwing one. But since Darvish has missed I think 3 or 4 no hitters already I'd say he gets it eventually. Both guys are Nasty and a real pleasure watching them throw.

Tanaka fan going with Darvish on this one. Yankees stink this year but every 5th game they've got a great shot at a W.
No effect on card prices for a no-no by either of them.

I'm a huge Yankees fan but I'm going Darvish on this one as well. Tanaka has been fantastic but always seems to have an inning or two he has to wriggle himself out of in every start. Darvish seems to be more dominant from first pitch to last pitch so I would lean his way. My 2 cents anyway.

I believe Darvish has twice come within one out of a no-hitter, so I'll go with him. You can't lose with either of these guys. Both studs.

He pitched an incredible game last night, one error away from the perfect game. I saw him pitch in spring training a couple years back and was amazed.

It would seem to be a good year for pitchers. On the Yankee radio broadcast earlier this week, during a delay in the NY/Oak game, the announcers were talking with Joe Torre about the lack of hitting/runs this year in MLB. I got the impression listening to them that this was not that good for baseball. Don't see what can be done to change this trend. Reminiscent of the 68 season-Gibson,McLain.
