ebay message says, "We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Center to help resolve any problems you may encounter."

I would not worry yet, give it a few days. It's likely the seller didn't pay their eBay bill.

A couple of years ago I received that same message. I paid for my item and it was delivered just like any other transaction. I have no idea why I received the message.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • This happened to me after I purchased a item that had been autographed. I had used the PSA Quick Opinion and it came back likely not genuine but after I bid on the item and it had ended. Ebay sent a message very similar to the message you received.

  • This occurs quite a lot when the seller lists things that are copyrighted, illegal stuff, etc,... (ie compilation videos on a DVD, Windows Operating system disk w/o hardware, etc,...). If you are happy with your purchase, just ignore the messages.

This happened to me as a seller. I was selling concert tapes of a few bands, auction ended with a winning bidder, and then the email from ebay said that this was a banned item.... Transaction not completed.

The way eBay works these days, if you paid and never receive item, you'll get your money back anyway.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.
