    I really enjoyed your synopsis. I am with PaulMaul in that this needs to be written as an article in SMR. Thanks for sharing some of the cards and even more so, the stories behind them.

    I'll echo everybodys sentiment and thank you for including us on your journey. A great accomplishment and great stories along the way. I've always loved that Hodges card and always thought he was a Joe Namath look-a-like in that one. Curious as to how many of these would you say you submitted for grading yourself versus picking up already slabbed?

    When I first did my PSA 8 set, a good number of them were submissions of raw cards that I had from when I was a kid. However, finding raw cards and submitting to come back with 9s would have never been possible. I'd say a vast majority of the 9s were purchased or traded for when they were already slabbed. Probably 5%-10% were submissions.
