PSA Registry card concerns

Please forgive me if I am naive to the registry, or didn't think the idea of EVERY SINGLE player released card could get graded was possible, but these recent emails from PSA has me concerned about the grading eligibility of specific cards:

"Can you please give me a little more information on the Broder cards, can you give me a year and a specific player. Currently there are Broder cards in some of the sets. If PSA grades them and they are cataloged then we will add them to the sets."

"If PSA grades them and we have a request to add them, providing they qualify for the set, we will add them. They will have to carry a grade not authentic only. To verify what PSA grades please contact the PSA customer service department at info@psacard.com or (800) 325-1121."

I'm living out of the country so I can't call the number but wanted the opinion of my peers.

This will be a tough pill to swallow for me if they decide to add Broder sets to Mattingly's registry. I haven't put up a stink about Star sets being in the registry but the Broders? I was planning on getting many of his oddball cards "slabbed as authentic" but now I'm worried all of those cards will be open to grading as well. I see they added square proofs as well. Would error cards also be eligible? I'm assuming all registries have the red text at the bottom signifying recent additions?

For a player who has as many cards as Donnie does (yes, I'm sure there are players with many more) but that will add a significant number of cards. I would much prefer they stick with what they have in the registry and let the collector decide what to slab additionally. .02.
