1970 Topps Cello Rip - Poppage

image

image

Now unless I am mistaken, there should be a Rose in front of that Ruiz. Now if a very educated 1970 sequence expert would like to chime in, all the better!

I will open and post this card by card. Very slowly. Good rips are hard to come by these days!

Hopefully the centering follows suit. Good luck if you chose to rip it.

Best of luck Nik. May it be a perfectly centered ROSE!

I am going to give a shout-out to the much-maligned Fritsch while I am at it. When it comes to ordering and delivering 1970 cellos, they have never let me down.

If I try to apply the lessons from the School of Moran/Carnac, would this yield a Banks if the top sequence goes 11 deep?

grasshoppers, you are growing up so quickly, ernie should be card 11 in and Don Sutton should be card 9 in. And yes Rose is before Ruiz.

Is there a Catfish lurking too?

Again not a exact science but you will also get padres rookies, Jerry Koosman, Mike Shannon, J. Meritt, Dave Balwdin i think, Jim Perry, Hal L. and Mike H. in first 11. 2nd 11 are impossible to predict

Confussis says you must share all cards if you rip or centering gods will punish you

This was a very difficult pack to open. Didn't have my Dremel. And the screwdriver method wasn't easy this time.

LOL I absolutely have not! The cards are stacked in a pile just as they came out of the pack. Knowing (?) that the Rose is back there is making the rest of the rip more palatable! Will be very interested to see how the centering starts out on the back 11.

It will be more interesting to see how the centering is towards on the bottom of the last 11. image

This is another one of those weird staged photos where it
looks like he's getting ready to catch a grounder, but the
ball is already in his glove.
