Unopened packs - does it matter if it's off season?

What is the best strategy for selling unopened material? If you had unopened football, would you wait until the season starts or sell now?
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.

<< <i>I sold vintage baseball in the off-season and I wish I hadn't. I would wait or at least set your own price. If it doesn't sell, don't stress on it and just wait. >>
Depends on the product and how badly you want to sell. I generally like to sell things in season. I do think it is natural for higher prices to generally be realized with in season sales. Of course A 1981 Topps wax box (BBCE wrapped) just closed at $1325. So you never know.

but unopened is fair game during any season. Thats just my $.02
<< <i>depends on it the unopened is modern or vintage. >>
We are talking specifically about mid 1970s football.
I'd wait until after the National.
