Our own dcarr (Daniel Carr) isn't just the most controversial figure in modern numismatics. He's also the actual designer of New York and Rhode Island state quarters and an incredibly skilled craftsman.
He recently produced a now SOLD OUT / Discontinued 1813-2013 Battle of Lake Erie Bicentennial medal:
And then he overstruck a super limited quantity (only 25!) of the 2013 Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial Five Ounce silver America the Beautiful coins with that same design.
The medal is one of his better designs and it's a really nifty related overstrike. A mintage of only 25 pieces makes it one of dcarr's least available products.
The issue price was $280 plus shipping. I'm asking $330 plus shipping. Comes with dcarr's original packaging and the signed insert.
