A Visit With Supercoin and Some Peac*ock Photos

I was in Minneapolis on business Monday and Tuesday and had a chance to visit Tad "Supercoin". I brought some Alaska salmon and we had a great barbeque with Tad, his wife, and lovely children.

Tad, thanks for the invite to your home. Had a wonderful time. You have a great family.

After dinner, of course we retired to look at coins. I brought my IKE Peac*ocks which Tad was good enough to re-image me. See below.

Also saw Tad's personal collection. He showed me an absolutely superb collection of wonderfully toned coins. Not only IKEs but many other pieces as well. Way to go Tad. Here is a collection which will never rank in the PCGS registry, but which certainly is a finest collection in my view.

Thanks again Tad.

Greg S.

Thank you! Anyone who brings hand-caught Alaskan salmon to the seafood-deprived midwest is always welcome. image The wine didn't hurt either. Luckily both parties retained enough sense to avoid any coin transactions under the influence.

Hope your morning meeting went ok -- I didn't envy you at 7:30 AM when I rolled over and went back to sleep. image

Tad, you know by International Law Accords, it is illegal to own 2 1974 Peac *ck Ikes, irregardless of mintmark. Now please, let's be civil about this, remit either one of those to the proper authorities(you have my address). hehehe

    Awesome coins.

I couldn't agree more -- however those are Greg's coins.

Convince him you're right and we'll each take one of the extras. image
  • Greg, beautiful coins!
    Regards,

Thanks for the correction there Tad. Guess I was studying those Ikes more than the post(go figure).

Alright Greg, you know what that means. Set the slabs down and back away, slowly.
  • Very nice, thanks for posting.
