I'm going to hold off a little longer on opening any of my big stuff (see P.S. for list of future rips) but I plan on ripping a '73, '78, '79, '80, '81, '84 & '86 wax pack this weekend. The '73 & '86 came from BBCE, the '81 came from eBay and the rest were a part of a group of packs I stumbled open in Galena IL of all places back at the beginning of May.
Here is a picture of that small pack find! (one from each year will be opened)
Here are the BBCE packs, the '73 will be a first!
Rippage will probably start late on Saturday.

Those three 79s? I'm calling it right now -- Lofton, Newsome & Campbell.
Good luck!
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Don't forget to visit at the booth at the National again this year (I'll post details via the company ID as we get closer to the National). We've got a few really neat rips planned, including a '58 FB Cello (sorry if that rubs salt in the wound). Hoping for success similar to last year's '55 Bowman pack.
Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

<< <i>Oh my. This is gonna be juicy. You know you have significant issues when you start salivating over the mere sight of packs.

Glad I'm not the only one with the salivation issues!

First up is one of the '78 packs from "my find". Cards were in great shape, no major star power but it yielded 4 super sharp, well centered cards...

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Next up the '73!!!
Not too bad of a pack, although the centering and tilts took their tolls on most of them. The checklist would have been great if it hadn't have been the gum card. At first glance, besides the rough cut on the bottom edge, the Tarkenton looks awesome. However it has two minor surface indentations that would keep it from getting a high grade
Next up a couple bonus packs, help me I can't stop!!!!!!!
Nothing there either, one nice card and that was all she wrote!
Thanks was watching guys, it sure takes a lot longer to do a rip when your cataloging, scanning and posting along the way.
