Thread to Show Off your 1967s

I'm slowly scanning my set for the registry and thought I'd post some on here as I go. Show me what you've got!

WOW! LOVE those cards ... especially the "9s". This is the very first set I put together when I got back into collecting in the 80s. I went from show to show every Saturday and Sunday and put the set together card by card. I thought the cards were in real nice condition ... until 3rd party grading came into play! LOL I still have the set ... raw. Most of the cards are probably in the 5,6 7 range. A few years ago I had 5 freebies to send into PSA, so I went thru the set and took out a few of the nicer ones to send in. I was pleasantly surprised when COLAVITO (a tough one) came back in a "9" slab. I sold it right away for $500.00. I still need to replace it with a lower grade.

Here is my contribution of ones I own ... all cellos are MANTLE SERIES:

EDITED TO ADD: Radatz Cello is now in a PSA "7" slab.

  • Man...why did you have to show the '67 Brooksie card! Wouldn't it make sense that a Brooks collector would have a better looking card than that... I "know" I don't have one even close...

Great viewing, by the way, the '67's are such a nice looking set.
