Kobe and the Lakers

I never thought I'd say this, but I have to give props to Kobe and the lakers...I hate to compare anyone to Jordan, but they give me that same awful feeling in the pit of my stomach when my team is up 10 with 4 minutes left; that my team is going to lose. They'res just no way around it: the Lakers are REALLY f'ing good.

    Agreed the Lakers are good. Now they get a real challenge with the Kings. Should be one hell of a good series. Can't wait till it starts Saturday!

    Lakers in 5. Kings have the shooting, but not the mental toughness.

    I was thinking Lakers in 6. As much as I'd like to see the Kings win it, I don't think they can. The Lakers are just too good. I think Bench play (If Peja's not hurt) will be huge for the kings if they expect to win this series.

    Jim Rome called the Lakers to win the series in 7 games a few weeks ago.

    i hope it goes 7 games .Because it's the most excitement theres been in the NBA this season...In the end though I think the kings will de-throne the Lakers..And I'm not saying that as a Lkaer hater..Nor am I a Kings fan...But if they don't put the ball in Shaqs hands EVERY time down the court the Lakers will not win the series..It all hinges upon Shaq..And on the other hand if the Kings can get Shaq in foul trouble it should be a clinch..I will say the NBA cahmp this year will either be the Lakers or the Kings..Cause as much as I like Kidd the Nets just are'nt tough enough to beat either team..And the Celts are too inconsistent...If it's Nets in the finals I say they;ll take 1 game..If it's Boston I say they'll get swept...

    Except the part about you not being a Kings fan. I'm a Kings fan especially now that Bibby is on the team. I've been a huge Bibby fan since he brought my AZ Wildcats to the NCAA Championship and won it all in 1997. He's not the brightest bulb in the box but he's a great player.

    Look for my Arizona Wildcats to be Preseason #1 this year and to win it all again!!!! GO CATS!

    Yeah it's amazing how Bibby has come up sine he came to the Kings..His talent was being watsed in Vancouver...And the Kings needed a PG who did'nt have the bad habits of J-Dub ..Like the many,many times he tried one of his fancy no look behind the back passes that ended up sailing into the crowdimage

    Where are all of the Kobe fans now? We had to live with constant bravado about how Kobe is better than Jordan. Jordan never asked to be moved off a guy with the game on the line. Shaq runs the Lakers and if he doesn't do well, they lose. Is airkobe08 still here? Or is he crying into his Kobe GU shorts card?

    And of course Kobe is not as good and never will be as good as Jordan. Jordan would have gladly taken on Bibby. Did you see how many times Bibby torched Kobe during this series. I did...



    They both have some great sports cards though.
