Grocery rack question

Anyone know if Topps grocery racks follow the same general cell rule as normal rack packs? Or are each of the individual cello packs a mish-mash of all cards from all sheets? Thanks

They definitely don't follow the normal rack sequence, but I'd be curious to know if they follow a wax or cello sequence. A lot of mine have same sheet designation for all 3 back cards, quite often from a later sheet (D/E). But many other variations as well.

Since pre-81 grocery packs all consisted of 3 wax packs in a tray or rack, it wouldn't surprise me if the wrapper was the only thing they changed in the process.
