Some poppage...PIC'S ADDED!

Just got 3 cards back from SGC. New holders are nice and they are doing their grading a bit different.

1. 1972 Kellogg's Greats Babe Ruth Mint 9
2. 1972 Kellogg's Pete Rose VG 3.5
3. 2012 Topps Tribute Bob Feller Blue 23/199 NM/MT 8.5

I put these into SGC holders because the blue background of the cards looks great with their black border holder.

Was the Rose what you expected or was there something you missed?

Yeah, I expected the Rose to be that low. The only reason I had it put in a holder was because it looks good with the black borders.

They grading hasn't changed, should have specified that. But they are now putting number grades on from 1-10 with half grades as well. They are still using their old system, but they just add this I think to avoid confusion.

SGC has been doing that for years.

+1, either of the two older styles are preferable.

there was a huge backlash to the flips and they are going to use new ones that look more like the old ones.
These are the soon to be scarce interim flips.

What is turnaround time? I'm thinking of using them as well given the increase at PSA and backlog. I do like the black background.

    Thanks,

This one was the May monthly special which was 20 day turnaround. However, they had it in 15 and then mailed it 2 days ago. No offense to PSA, because they are the leader in the graded card market, but the turnaround time is just brutal.
