Well, these were pretty cheap, and I did not have an AEQVITAS example so they arrived safely in my hands yesterday. The other example I haven't looked up yet on Wildwinds but it is decent and I enjoy the sandy patina. Gallienus' coinage is relatively cheap if you are working with antoninianii so I enjoy picking up these "homeless children" as they come up. It scratches the itch, albeit cheaply.

I believe your Mystery Gallienus is actually a Claudius II Gothicus.

I can see what you are talking about, Josh. I am confused by the letter after the L. It looks like a backwards N to me. What is that?
