I recently "discovered" and started a Registry Set.

Never really paid attention to them other than the occasional look-see when someone posted a link to one.
For one reason or another I have accumulated about 10 or 12 decent Washington Quarters.
There they set in the blue box and I was trying to think of a way to play with them more and that's when it dawned on me to check into registry sets.
So, I started one and am now 30th out of 32.
I was very surprised to see the level of detail provided when adding inventory.
Especially the ability to export to a .csv file.
I see you can also you can add other TPG coins as well as raw. I did not do this. Only added coins for my set
My question is does anyone here add coins to the inventory with no intentions of using them in a set?
Just to kind of keep track of your collection?

I've been out of the registry game for a while now, but I did not know PCGS now allows raw and other TPG coins. Is this true for all sets?

You can add them to your inventory but can NOT add them to a registry set.

Yes unlike some here I am not slab biased and have coins in my collection are not in PCGS holders, or any holder for that matter. Thus I only have one registry set on this site but all my inventory is in the system.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Cool, and I wonder how hooked you will eventually become?
I like the 1952!!
<< <i>Congrats on starting that set, I just moved up into 25th and its a great place to be able to see all your coins in one place besides the SDB. Love your toners and you need to do the Varieties while doing this set....Enjoy
I coming for ya tommy. (Not really)
I see you don't have to look very far up the lists and you encounter some serious head wind.

<< <i>I don't have a registry set, but I do record all my cert numbers using the "My Inventory" feature of the registry. I do this as an online record and also to block anyone who might have seen or recorded my cert numbers and then decided to use them in a fake listing on the registry. >>
This is a good idea. I don't want to get back into the registry game, but I will "rebuild" my inventory in this way.
<< <i>Attractive group of Washingtons.
Thanks. No I did not have them slabbed. I assume they were Mint Set examples slabbed by others.

Nice start.
I also like the 49' and 52' which to me have the look of coins coming out of aftermarket 5 coin mint set holders Like this 1964 Set one on ebay rather than from a government issued mint set.

Ok, so a few do this and I think I might try this as well.
In addition to PCGS I'll enter the other TPG slabs and maybe some of my better raw coins.
