Gold-plated 1883 V nickels

has anyone seen an UNC gold-plated example? Details, obviously. And not modernly plated. Curious as to how they looked back in the day.

    There is one at the Eric P Newman Money Museum in STL.
    I plan on going next week and will take a pic of it for you.

    Yes -- I've seen 1 or two over the years. Typically they have some wear though, and have had the plating rubbed off the high points.

    I have a nice example but not UNC. If you are speaking of the Racketeer Nickel keep in mind that they
    most likely would have reeded edges to mimic the $5 piece.
