Is there any certain criteria to "pass" the authentication process other than no evidence of tampering? Primarily thinking of boxes that may have been put together, rather than coming from a sealed case. At minimum I would think they need to be consistent wrappers (for the early 80 racks after the ditched the header card... i.e., this vs. this). But what about the 70s racks with header card? Can there be a mix of punched and unpunched header cards?
